The Children’s Ministry of South Shore Baptist Church exists to partner with parents, helping kids to KNOW Jesus personally, GROW in their faith, and SHOW God’s love in their homes, school, and community.
Sunday mornings during the sermon
We offer a Children's Church program during the worship service for Kindergarten through grade 5.
Children must be registered in advance of attending any Children's Ministry event. This registration serves as a permission form, medical release, and helps us to anticipate our volunteer needs. Please fill it out even if you plan on joining us at a later date. You can indicate this on the form.
Family Registration for Children's Ministry 21-22
Sunday School classes begin on Sunday, September 12, 2021, at 10:45 AM. Children meet by grade (ages 3 to Grade 5; Nursery available during Sunday School) during the school year.
The purpose of Sunday school is to support what parents are called to do in the home. Children are taught to grow in their faith and love for God and discover what it means to serve in His Kingdom. They also develop skills of Bible study and the joys of Christ-centered living. Children will be taught through a Bible curriculum with scope and sequence from age 3 – Grade 5.
Scripture Memorization Program
Kids are encouraged to hide God's word in their hearts.
We need many volunteers to provide childcare and Children's Church. We are looking for enough volunteers to make a 5-week rotating schedule for Children's Church and Nursery. Would you consider volunteering? Read about the various volunteer positions here.
