We are a community of Christians committed to growing deeper in our faith and living it out. We do this through growing in our understanding and application of God's word, through prayer, sharing with one another, and service. We want to help each other to grow in Christlikeness, not just in knowledge. SSBC offers opportunities to learn and grow in a variety of settings, some geared toward specific seasons or situations in life. We want to equip and encourage you in your Christian walk and to be a disciple maker yourself!
Some of our adult ministries include:
-
Community Groups
What is a "Community Group"? It's a small group of people who meet regularly to pray, study the Bible, and reach out together with the gospel as a guide in our everyday interactions.
Community Groups meet throughout the week all over the South Shore. This year, some are in person, and some are virtual.
If you are interested in joining a Community Group or have questions, you can contact Pastor Steve Grissom (781-749-2592 x110) or check out the Fall 2024 Community Group Brochure.

Sunday School
Sunday School classes are for all ages! We offer biblical and topical studies for adults during the fall and spring semesters.
Jesus Christ was a teacher. His followers went on to teach after Him. God sovereignly uses the local church as a foundational classroom for His children. Believing that Christians are never to stop learning and growing in their spiritual journey, we encourage adults to pursue an active and intentional way of becoming more Christ-like. Sunday School is a great place to help you study and apply the truth of God's Word.
Fall classes begin September 15 at 10:45 AM! Click here for the brochure.
