WOMEN’S CHRISTMAS OPEN HOUSE - Saturday, December 2, from 2-5 PM. Join us at the Cohasset Lightkeeper’s House for an afternoon of fellowship as we prepare our hearts and minds for the Christmas season. MEN’S RETREAT, January 5-7, 2018 – This is a great opportunity for guys to come together for a low key, spiritually rich weekend full of fun, fellowship and worship. Our theme is “The Armor of God.” We’ll be at Camp Brookwoods in Alton, NH. REGISTER TODAY.

Women’s Retreat, March 2-4, 2018 - Women of SSBC, join us for a weekend away in Newport, RI. We want to connect, relax, have fun, and grow spiritually together. Our speaker, Abi Byrd, will share from the book of Philippians on finding “Deep Joy.” Register by January 24.

Faith Promise Commitment

Faith Promise Commitments are pledges we make toward missions at SSBC for 2018. We trust God to provide the funds we promise in various ways. Please make your commitment by November 5 so the Missions Committee can use all the pledges to plan the budget on time for the year January-December 2018. MAKE A PLEDGE

rEcess is a respite program offered monthly to families who have children with special needs. We provide 4 hours of childcare filled with fun activities so that parents can have time for themselves. This is an INCREDIBLE opportunity to serve! Volunteers arrive at 1 PM, families at 2 PM, and the day ends at 6 PM. More volunteers and families needed. More details here.

Sunday School for All Ages

Sunday School for all ages runs from 10:45-11:45 AM. Take advantage of this time immediately following the worship service to continue growing in the knowledge and wisdom of God’s word and to encourage and build up one another. Children meet by grade in the Children’s Wing. Teens and Adults have several class options. See the classes here.


GriefShare is special seminar and support group for people grieving the loss of someone close. GriefShare is a good place to find comfort and encouragement during this difficult time. Heart to Heart

This Bible study and prayer group is for women of all ages and stages. We meet Thursday mornings from 9:15-11:30 during the school year. This year’s study is 1 PETER: A Living Hope in Christ. Learn more here.
